Has your homeschooling gone to pot? This is a common trend with all parents out there. It's nearly impossible to continue to work from home and keep the homeschooling standards to your expectation - or at least what was in your mind.
My head had visions of heart warming moments around the dining room table with the vignette glow softening the faces of my tiny weenies! In my vision, they were learning and it's magical - their academic future was clear...
The reality has been a needy, disruptive, food-orientated, clock-watching angst-riddled struggle to get a task done - and that's just me!!!! In fact, the thought has crossed my mind, more than once, to complete the work myself and release myself from the perils of 'forced' home schooling. I'm the one who wants to roll around the floor and find anything other than their work to supervise them completing or my own work to get done.
Bless teacher's cotton socks. I pity the fool that gets between me and returning them to their teacher post our COVID-19 crisis.
